Ninety minutes, two hours, or the whole afternoon.

Booking a spa is really booking a block of time, so everything here is priced by how long it takes and what happens in it. No upsell at the bed.

Three folded white towels stacked on a wooden shelf beside an amber glass bottle and a small dish of salt.
An empty treatment room, the bed made up in white with folded towels on it, a linen curtain half drawn across the window and one warm lamp lit.

By the hour, not by the mystery

Plain descriptions

What each treatment actually is

Spa menus are written to sound like poetry. Here is what happens.

Swedish massage, 60 min

Full body, medium pressure, oil. Say if you want it firmer and it will be.

Deep tissue, 60 min

Slower and firmer, focused on two or three areas rather than everything.

Classic facial, 60 min

Cleanse, exfoliate, extractions if you want them, mask, moisturise. Mild redness for an hour.

Body scrub, 45 min

Salt or sugar scrub, rinse, moisturise. Do not book it the day after shaving.

Manicure, 45 min

Shape, cuticle work, polish or gel. Gel adds fifteen minutes.

Pedicure, 60 min

Soak, hard skin, shape, massage, polish. The chairs are the good ones.

A single styling station, an empty chair in front of a plain mirror with a folded towel, a hair dryer and a jar of brushes on the shelf.
Three pedicure chairs in a row along a wall, basins filled and folded towels laid over the arms, afternoon light across the floor.
